Hey there, I’m Jayden Meyer the owner of Acrual. I’m a software developer by trade as well as an avid DIY’er. While working with many small manufacturing & construction businesses in Australia, I’ve seen the frustrations they deal with when using software and have been building a better all-in-one business management solution since 2013.
So, how did Acrual start? Many years ago, after talking with my dad (an estimator himself) about his processes, I thought “surely there is a better way?”. There weren’t any apps in the market that quite did what he was looking for. After talking it all through for many hours, I started building what was originally called “estimate site” (creative I know!).
After a lot more research and many long nights, the app was coming together... and started to be usable! The feedback was positive, so I kept going.
It reached a point where this platform needed a name - I decided on Acrual it’s been that way since.
As people started to hear about Acrual, some were keen to pay to use it themselves as they could see how easy it was and benefits it could bring. That’s when I knew I was onto something.
Since then, Acrual has grown in both features and customer base serving more and more Australian manufacturing and construction businesses.
